Hi all! I'm so lame during my school breaks. I think I'm going to blog more, but in actuality my brain takes a little vacation, too! I go back to work tomorrow, so we'll be back to our more scheduled random babble.
This weekend, we went to Pops on Route 66. We've been meaning to go for awhile and we finally decided that Christmas break is almost over and we needed one last adventure.
This place is a gas station, and seemingly a favorite of bikers along Route 66. It has over 500 different kinds of soda pop (coke if you're from Texas) and we had a great time. It was a beautiful 72 degree day so during our wait we walked around the shop and sat outside and enjoyed the sun. The building is all glass and there are soda bottles floor to ceiling and wall to wall, but I discovered they are glued down! We got a six pack before we left, each of us choosing two, so we have a little more yet to enjoy.Last night we went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I loved it. Three hours, so make sure you go to the bathroom first, but it was a great story of life and relationships. Check it out!
