Jess caused me to put this on out there.
I've been doing the "Couch to 5K" program. I'm still on the first phase, which is jog for 60 seconds and walk for 90, alternating for 20 minutes. It was super hard the second day. I figure since I'm 40 now, I can take a little longer than the 3 days before bumping it up. So one more day tomorrow, and I'm on to the next level!
Some of my coworkers ran the relay for the Memorial Marathon, and there is another in Tulsa in November. They wanted to get as many people on board as possible, so here I go.
I figured new running shoes were a good motivator! Wish me luck!
